Cliffe Hill Primary School

Architect: Aedas Architects
Client: Calderdale Council

The building is a unique ellipse shape with an internal court yard.

The curved monopitch roof is formed using tapered insulated panels supported on a curved steel frame. Part of the roof comprises a ‘green roof’ system. The building is half single and half two storey. Part of the roof level cantilevers out allowing a column free elevation/balcony area. There is also a feature fabric canopy in the courtyard.
