Small-Scale Building

Furness was appointed by G-Frame to design the superstructure. The superstructure is almost exclusively made of timber products: CLT panels used in conjunction with Glulam columns and beams and exposed timber joists. This resulted in the gorgeous terrace house, which was built to passive house standards.

Large Project

Shay Grange Crematorium was one of three projects that forms part of the Bradford MDC Bereavement strategy to upgrade and enhance their aging facilities. The council required the facility to be environmentally friendly, cost efficient and versatile whilst providing a calm and tranquil environment. The team worked really well together to create a wonderful, effective, flexible space and fantastic facility for the Council.
