The Marina Centre Great Yarmouth

The Marina Centre in Great Yarmouth has proven to be an excellent addition to the Great Yarmouth community.

It includes three swimming pools (25 metre, learner and leisure pools), a gym, sports hall, associated changing rooms and seaside Café, and much more!
This new development was part of a regeneration project along the Great Yarmouth Golden Mile, to support he year-round engagement with the area, boost the economy and support the health and wellbeing of the borough. Hearing that the new Marina Centre is improving lives, regenerating the community and helping Great Yarmouth towards its vision of an all-year-round destination demonstrates the success of the project which were proud to have worked on with Morgan Sindall Construction and Saunders Boston Architects, amongst others. Below is a breakdown of the project scope:

• New Leisure Centre development on the existing site, with three swimming pools and flumes

• External area providing an additional 100+ car parking spaces

• 100-station health and fitness gym with views to the sea

• Indoor climbing zone

• 182 weeks of training being provided for local young people as part of the project
