Health and Well Being Centre developed by Newcastle Under Lyme Borough Council and partially funded by the Primary Care Trust (PCT).

Facilities include:

  • 25m 8 lane swimming pool

  • Teaching pool

  • Health and fitness suite

  • Dance studio

  • Multi purpose room

  • Climbing wall

  • Staff facilities

The structure is a 3 storey steel frame construction with exposed glulam beams over the pool hall. The foundations are designed using a combination of contiguous piled walls to retain the adjacent highway, bored piled suspended foundations and traditional foundations on ground of variable founding capacity.
