The Vaughan Library is a grade 2 listed building. This was a £2 million refurbishment contract for Harrow School, at Harrow on the Hill.
The Library building demanded several challenging details for elements that had to be retained and/or reproduced to meet the Architectural and Planning requirements. Several elegant steel stairs, balconies and mezzanine floors were introduced to create space and essential links to various parts of the building, the most challenging being the cantilevered balcony.
