Teach Sprúis! - The winner of the Woods Award Ireland Small-Scale Building

Teach Sprúis wins the Small-Scale Building Category at the Woods Awards Ireland 2024!

Furness were appointed by G-Frame to design the superstructure on this stunning residential project. The superstructure is formed almost exclusively of timber products, CLT panels joined in conjunction with glulam columns, beams and exposed timber joists. Resulting in the gorgeous terrace house, built to passive house standards.

It was a pleasure to work with the dedicated project team - Eden Architects - John Barry Lowe, G-Frame Structures, Marr Construction - Philip Marr.

Celebrating their 10th year anniversary in 2024, the Wood Awards Ireland to recognise and award excellence in wood construction and design.
