Furness Partnership Bradford Office is proud to be a part of the team chosen to build the new £6 million East Coast Hub operations and maintenance (O&M) facility for DONG Energy at Grimsby Docks.

The new facility will be located in the town’s Royal Dock and will support Westermost Rough, Race Bank and Hornsea Project One offshore wind farms.

Danish DONG Energy, one of Northern Europe’s leading energy groups, plans for a new renewables investment in Grimsby to create the U.K.’s largest offshore wind operations and maintenance (O&M) hub.

The hub will be served by high-tech vessels capable of accommodating up to 60 crew and technicians while remaining at sea for long periods. It will also include a comprehensive marine coordination centere capable of providing 24/7 service to offshore operations across the U.K. and beyond.

We are looking forward to working together with Hobson and Porter, The Harris Partnership Architects and YCEng M&E Consultants on this exciting new project.
