Wyke Community Sports Village

The Wyke Community Sports Village was developed by Bradford MDC in partnership with Sport England, British Cycling, The Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation. Its aim was to provide state of the art facilities for a number of local sports clubs, schools and the wider community. The village consists of a full sized 3G floodlit pitch, 3 grass pitches, a childrens learn to cycle area, a bike library, a closed loop track and a larger cycle track capable of hosting community and major cycling events. A new Pavilion was built to provide changing facilities, an outdoor viewing gallery and a community space for up to 250 people. Extensive car parking, landscaping and drainage works were also carried out.
